A 32-year-old woman was abducted by two young men in west Delhi but was rescued by alert passers-by who intercepted their vehicle in Rohini, police said on Sunday.
The accused have been arrested though their names could not be immediately known.
Deputy Commissioner of Police M.N. Tiwari said the woman was kidnapped around 8 p.m. on Saturday from Mangolpuri area.
"The victim had spoken to the accused on phone many times in the past. We're investigating in what context they met," Tiwari said. One more accused was absconding.
