Abu Dhabi, Aug 31 (IANS/WAM) The police here on Thursday launched an awareness campaign to warn residents against risks of using fireworks.
The campaign is part of Abu Dhabi Police's "Your Security is Our Happiness" initiative and is in line with its efforts to enhance residents' awareness of preventive measures to protect them from dangers.
Brigadier Salem Homoud Al Bloushi, Director of the Weapons and Explosive Department at the Security and Ports Affairs Sector of Abu Dhabi Police, urged the public to desist from practices leading to material losses, environment pollution, or fires that put the safety of the community and property at risk.
