The Modi government's promised 'Achche din' will take a year or two more and will hinge on people's cooperation, Goa BJP Vice President Kunda Chodankar said on Friday.
Chodankar, asked at a press conference here when the "achche din", as promised by the National Democratic Alliance government, would be delivered, said: "Let us wait for one, two years", provided people cooperate with the government.
Addressing a press conference at the state BJP headquarters, he also said that the Congress party through decades of its rule had not been able to deliver much and that the BJP had been making tireless efforts to improve governance and improve infrastructure over the last three years.
