Following in the footsteps of several Tamil actors like Suriya, Lawrence and G.V. Prakash Kumar, "Nanban" fame actor Jiiva is the latest to jump on the horror bandwagon with his yet-untitled upcoming Tamil outing, which is currently on the floors.
"This is Jiiva's first tryst with the horror genre. The film is currently being shot in Palani, where it will be filmed for nearly a month, followed by 20-day schedule in Chennai. Although it'll be a no-nonsense horror film, there will be some elements of humour," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
The film is being directed by Hari, an erstwhile assistant of Kamal Haasan. Comedian Soori and Sri Divya have been roped in for the film.
The movie, which has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar, also stars Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Divyadarshini and Thambi Ramaiah.
The project is jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and filmmaker Atlee's A for Apple Entertainment.
