Actor Adam Sandler underwent a surgery on his shoulder.
The 47-year-old, who injured his shoulder in May, got the surgery done Tuesday, reports radaronline.com.
"The surgery was a long time coming for Adam. He had a chronic shoulder injury that he needed to have surgery for, so he did. He's now on the mend," said a source.
Sandler's representative, Cindy Guagenti, confirmed the injury and the surgery.
"It was scheduled surgery for an injury he had a while ago playing basketball," said Guagenti.
