People should be encouraged to make healthier choices in life and also follow a lifestyle which fosters good health, Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda said here on Wednesday.
Inaugurating a photo exhibition on Yoga on the sidelines of the World Health Assembly here, Nadda expressed gratitude towards the adoption of a resolution by the United Nations General Assembly that has declared June 21 to be observed as the 'International Day of Yoga'.
"A record 177 countries have co-sponsored this resolution. This is a testimony to the wide recognition and popularity Yoga has gained across the globe," he said.
