AIFF president meets Blatter at FIFA HQ

All India Football Federation (AIFF) president Praful Patel met FIFA boss Joseph S. Blatter at the headquarters of the world body in Zurich to discuss possibilities of hosting a Club World Cup.

FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke and Thierry Regenass, director, member associations and development vision, FIFA, were also present in Thusday's meeting.

Matters regarding the organisational structure of the 2017 U-17 FIFA World Cup which is slated to be held in India was also discussed.

Patel will chair the executive committee of the AIFF here May 14.
