A Srinagar-bound Air India flight with 180 passengers developed a snag mid-air and made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport, police said. All passengers are safe.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Bhatia, the incident occurred around 10.30 a.m.
"Air India Flight 825, from New Delhi to Srinagar, returned to IGIA (Indira Gandhi International Airport) due to an engine snag. The flight landed safely at 10.58 a.m with 180 passengers on board. Fortunately, all passengers are safe," Bhatia said.
