TV actor Amar Upadhyay will be seen in the new season of "Savdhaan India - 100 days 100 Fightbacks".
Amar, seen in popular sitcom "Dekh Bhai Dekh" as Sahil Diwan, rose to fame as Mihir Virani in "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi". The 36-year-old also joined the fifth season of "Bigg Boss.
"Crime shows is a different genre, one that works across the globe. The host of a reality based crime show is the main link between the audience and the story," he said in a statement.
He was also part of films like "13B", "LOC Kargil" and "Dhundh: The Fog".
The new season of "Savdhaan India, launched last month as a movement against crime and injustice, brings 100 cases of 100 real people.
Amar will be seen anchoring the new season along with celeb anchors Mohnish Behl, Sushant Singh, Hiten Tejwani and Pooja Gor.
The show comes on Life OK at 10:30 p.m.
