Amazon.in ropes in watch designer Michael Foley

Online shopping destination Amazon.in has roped in renowned watch designer and connoisseur Michael Foley to curate the watches section on its platform.

Foley will lend his expertise and curate the online watch store based on the latest trends and styles and share extensive reviews for each timepiece to help customers understand their chosen assortment of products better.

The designer believes "watches today are becoming an ecosystem in themselves and have come a long way from being mere time-keeping devices". He hopes he's able to help customers make the right choice.

"I hope to enhance customers' perspective of the whole domain by developing their understanding of the watch-making and designing process; jargons; styles and materials and their choices based not only on current fashion trends but also on aspects like topography, climatic conditions and skin-types which would in turn make them much smarter with the kind of choices they make," Foley said in a statement.

The Amazon.in watch store offers as many as 12,000 styles from more than hundred brands including Fossil, Titan, Fastrack, Timex, Casio, Tommy Hilfiger, Citizen, Police, Esprit, Kenneth Cole and Disney.

The watch store on the website offers multitude customer ratings and reviews, trend pages, high resolution images and availability of one and two-day delivery options.
