Model-actress Amber Rose is reportedly upset after a prostitution ring used her image as bait.
Rose was shocked after learning that the Los Angeles police is investigating a company which had been luring in aspiring models into prostitution on the claims that Rose was involved in its selection Process.
"Rose is upset anyone would do this kind of thing in the first place," Gossip Cop quoted a source as saying, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The company is said to have set up FaceTime video calls for the hopefuls using old footage of Rose, which would quickly get cut off due to a bad connection.
The girls were then urged to go on dates with rich men and told that being "intimate" with them would help them to succeed in the modelling industry.
Police launched an investigation after a suspicious woman filed a report on Monday, accusing the company of running a prostitution ring.
Rose alerted her fans immediately using micro-blogging site Twitter, after learning a few details about the scam over the weekend.
"If ur receiving emails or Text from amberrosemuva@gmail.com dat ain't me Bih. Apparently that email has been Facetiming my fans 2 with an old ustream I did then hanging up saying they have bad reception smh. Tricky F*cks..... Very creative tho. I'll give them that (sic)," Rose wrote on Twitter.
