BJP President Amit Shah on Thursday paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib here on the 350th Prakash Utsav or birth anniversary of 10th Sikh master, Guru Gobind Singh.
Shah visited the gurdwara in Chandni Chowk, where the ninth Sikh guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur was beheaded on the orders of Mughal Emperor Augangzeb on November 11, 1675.
"I salute Guru Gobind Singh ji's patriotism and bravery. He is a great symbol of courage," Shah tweeted.
Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit chief Manoj Tiwari, Union Minister Harshvardhan, Delhi state party affairs in-charge Shyam Jaju, BJP General Secretary Anil Jain and Secretary Sardar R.P. Singh accompanied Shah.
