Talking to reporters following his nomination, Lokesh said he was happy to be the TDP candidate for MLC elections within five years of working as a 'disciplined party worker'.

The businessman-politician thanked Chandrababu Naidu and TDP's Andhra Pradesh unit President Kala Venkat Rao for his nomination.

Meanwhile, Lokesh's father-in-law and popular actor N. Balakrishna said Lokesh was a suitable candidate for council elections.
