Filmmaker Andy Fickman is reportedly in talks to direct the sequel to 2009 film "Paul Blart: Mall Cop".
The director of movies like "Parental Guidance" and "She's The Man" is in negotiations to helm the film, which is eying for an April start date, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Actor Adam Sandler will return as a co-producer and Kevin James is set to reprise his role as the overweight cop in "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2".
James will also write the screenplay with Nick Bakay, like they did in the first installment which was directed by Steve Carr.
