Peter Andre pens song for movie, excited

Singer Peter Andre has written a song for the movie "Mr Peabody and Sherman", which will be released by Twentieth Century Fox.

The 40-year-old, who has two children - Junior, eight, and Princess Tiaamii, six - with his ex-wife Katie Price, has written the track "Kid" for the upcoming family comedy adventure, directed by Rob Minkoff, reports contactmusic.com.

The song will feature as the closing credits in the film, which will release in Britain and Ireland on Feb 7.

"I saw an early cut of the film and loved it - it's a must-see for the entire family. It is great to be working on something that I can see with my children and I am so excited about this partnership," Andre said.

"'Kid' is a song about the adventure of being a dad, the mischief, the fun, the exhausting joy of what kids bring, and it's very up-tempo to match," he added.

Meanwhile, Andre's girlfriend, medicine graduate Emily MacDonaugh, is expecting their first child.
