Popular producer Anil Sunkara, known for Telugu films such as "Dookudu" and "Legend", will release forthcoming Telugu anthology film "Chandamama Kathalu" under his home banner April 25 worldwide.
"He recently saw the film and was really impressed with it. He agreed to distribute it under his home banner. This will help us get a good theatrical release," the film's director Praveen Sattaru told IANS.
Sattaru, who has also produced the film, says the film will be "life-affirming".
"It's an emotional story about experiences that make up life. It was a challenge to fit eight stories and to give all my actors equal screen space but I'm glad I've pulled it off. I hope the audience will also appreciate something different from the run-of-the-mill type films," he added.
Featuring an ensemble cast of Naresh, Aamani, Lakshmi Manchu, Krishnudu, Chaitanya Krishna and Richa Panai, "Chandamama Kathalu" is a title inspired by the children's book of the same name.
