Television is innudated with saas-bahu stories and here comes another one - "Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai". It claims to showcase a different side of the relationship between a mother-in law and a daughter-in-law.

In the show, daughter-in-law will be as seen as a independent woman who earns respect for herself. It will also focus on why such a daughter-in-law is burdened with the expectations of her mother-in-law.

The mother-in-law, Naulakha Devi will be essayed by Prachee Pathak, who has been a part of shows like "Afsar Bitiya", "Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya" and "Kairi", while Payal Rajput, seen in "Sapno Se Bhare Naina", will be seen as her daughter-in-law Sia.

Set in Gorakhpur, it will showcase a conservative family with a strict and dominating mother-in-law. She is orthodox when it comes to her daughter-in-law Sia, who is vibrant, bubbly and an extrovert.

The show will air on Sahara One.
