Ting Ting Chen of Chinese Taipei ended Archana Kamath's fine run in the cadet girls semi-finals of the SET Thailand Open Junior & Sub-junior table tennis tournament here on Sunday.
Archana, who had beaten compatriot Srushti Halengadi in the quarter-finals, lost in straight sets 9-11, 7-11, 8-11 to her opponent, according to a Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) release.
Archana beat Memkamporn Naja of Thailand 11-7, 11-2, 11-3 in the pre-quarterfinal.
Utkarsh Gupta lost in the quarter-finals in the junior boy's category after losing to Tai Chun Yu of Chinese Taipei 1-11, 11-13, 3-11, 9-11.
In cadet boy's category, Sarthak Seth went down fighting to Cho Daeseong of South Korea 9-11, 11-4, 11-3, 9-11, 11-3 in the quarter-finals.
