The Indian compound men's team lost out to Italy in the semi-finals and now have to battle for bronze against Venezuela at the fourth leg of the Archery World Cup here on Sunday.
In the quarter-finals on Saturday night, the Indian team comprising Sarvesh pareek, Sandeep kumar and Isaiah Rajender Sanam blanked hosts Colombia 231-227 en route to the semi-finals.
But in the penultimate stage, the team faltered and lacked precision as they lost to the Italians 229-233. The teams, after the second set were locked at 117-117.
The compound mixed team of Trisha Deb and Sarvesh Pareek will also battle for the bronze here on Sunday.
