Argentine Marcelo Bielsa is negotiating to coach Lazio next football season, according to the Rome-based club's sporting director Igli Tare.
Tare told L'Equipe newspaper on Thursday that his club is very close to signing Bielsa, without providing further details on the negotiations, reports Efe.
The sporting director added that everything is possible in soccer, indicating that the signing of a great coach with international importance can only bring positive things to the club.
Bielsa has been searching for a new club since he left Olympique Marseille at the beginning of last season.
He has previously coached the national teams of Argentina and Chile, alongwith clubs like Athletic Bilbao and Espanyol.
