Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Saturday condoled the death of Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh, calling him the father of IAF's modernisation efforts.
"Saddened by the demise of 1965 war hero and Marshal of Air Force Arjan Singh. He was the father of our Air Force's modernisation efforts," said Parrikar, a former Defence Minister, in a tweet.
"His dedication to our nation and his exemplary leadership capabilities will continue to inspire our armed forces."
Arjan Singh died of a heart attack on Saturday evening. He was 98
