Singer Armaan Malik, who has belted out hits songs like "Wajah tum ho", "Naina", and "Chaar Shanivaar", says it is very important to highlight the young talent of India.

Armaan, along with his brother and music composer-director Amaal Mallik will be judging 92.7 BIG FM's "Benadryl BIG Golden Voice Season 4" - a radio based singing talent hunt show.

"I have myself been on the other side of the table being a participant of a singing talent hunt. Hence, it is weird but awesome at the same time to judge a pool of talent that our nation has. It is very important to highlight the young talent of India," Armaan said in a statement.

The "Buddhu sa mann" crooner added that he feels proud to "to judge the singing talent hunt" with his brother.

"When you are presenting yourself, confidence is very important. Thus, I would advice the participants to come with a confidence that 'they are the stars and the biggest singers in the making'," said Armaan.

He will judge contestants based on their confidence, while Amaal will look into the details of "sur and taal" (rhythm and beats).

Amaal said: "I would advice the participants to sing from heart. The voice would be such that it reaches our heart. It should have that uniqueness."
