Indian Army's Western Command chief Lt. Gen. Philip Campose Thursday reviewed the operational preparedness of the army's 9 Corps here.
Lt. Gen. Campose was received by Lt. Gen. Praveen Bakshi, commander of the Rising Star Corps.
He was briefed on operational preparedness, training, administration and various other aspects of the corps, an army statement said.
Lt. Gen. Campose later addressed all officers and spoke about the present environmental realties and challenges for the army. He was hopeful that the armymen will always be ready to live up to the expectations of the nation.
