Filmmaker Darren Aronofsky is reportedly taking an interest in directing a yet-untitled biopic on motorcycle daredevil Evel Knievel.
Talks of Aronofsky helming the project have been circulating online, mentioning that the director is currently in early talks with Sony.
The biopic has been in development at the studio since 2014 as a possible starring vehicle for Channing Tatum, reports aceshowbiz.com.
In addition to starring in, Tatum is on board producing alongside Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti.
More details about the upcoming movie are still not known yet.
Evel Knievel, known to his family as Robert Craig Knievel, became famous in the 1970s for his daredevil motorcycle stunts.
