Atletico Mineiro moved to within four points of leaders Corinthians with a 3-0 victory at Coritiba in Brazil's Serie A championship.
Leandro Silva gifted the visitors their first goal by turning the ball into his own net before Giovanni Augusto's low strike made it 2-0 just beyond the hour mark on Saturday, reports Xinhua.
Argentine striker Lucas Pratto added a third goal from the penalty spot after he was brought down by goalkeeper Wilson.
The result at the Couto Pereira stadium lifted Atletico to 56 points, four behind Corinthians, while Coritiba remained in the 14th place, two spots above the relegation places.
Also on Saturday, Lisandro Lopez and Rodrigo Dourado were on target as hosts Internacional beat Sporting Recife 2-1 in Porto Alegre.
