Spanish football club Atletico Madrid hopes that Chelsea's Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will recover soon, after the English side's coach Jose Mourinho confirmed on Friday that the goalkeeper sustained a knee injury.
"Thibaut Courtois, strength for your recovery. A big hug and we hope to see you on the pitch soon," the Spanish club tweeted on Saturday.
On Friday, Mourinho had said that the former Atletico goalkeeper "was injured in a training session with the goalkeepers", adding that he "needs surgery on his right knee and as a consequence, he will be out for quite a long time".
