Australia convincingly beat England to win their third successive Twenty20 International by 84 runs in three-match series which ended at Stadium Australia here Sunday.
Australia skipper George Bailey won the toss and opted to bat with openers Cameron White (41) and Aaron Finch (30) getting the Aussies off to a good start. Bailey fired in the middle order hitting a quick fire 49 off 20 balls, including an impressive 24 off the final over, to see the hosts post 195/6.
The Australian bowlers shared the wickets and never really allowed the English to get going in their chase. Eoin Morgan (34) was the best of the English batsmen but it wasn't enough and England were bowled out for 111 in the 18th over.
England's disastrous tour to Australia came to an end with this match. The visitors first lost the Test series 0-5, then the One-Day International (ODI) series 1-4 and the T20I series 0-3.
