Austrian Mayer wins men's downhill at Olympics

Austrian Matthias Mayer won the Olympic men's downhill gold at the Winter Olympics here Sunday.
The 23-year-old, also a super-G expert, clocked a winning time of two minutes and 6.23 seconds and Italian Christof Innerhofer took the silver at just six-hundredths of a second, reports Xinhua.
Norway's Kjetil Jansrud got the bronze a further 0.04 seconds slower with teammate and World Champion Aksel Lund Svindal fourth.
