Singer Ronan Keating and wife Storm, who will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary this month, are planning to start a family together soon.

When they married last year, Keating's wife Storm became stepmother to his three children. And now they hope to give the singer's children a sibling.

The former Boyzone star, 39, and Australian TV producer wife, 34, shared their family plans in an interview with Hello! magazine, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Storm said: "Please god that it works out for us. Ronan is a great dad. He is amazing."

The couple have bought a new home in Hertfordshire, where Keating's children Jack (17), Missy (15) and Ali (10) from his first marriage will be frequent visitors.

Keating said: "It feels like we were always meant to be together. They (the children) can see how happy I am. And it's about making them know they are loved."

Storm explained: "It makes me very proud when I refer to 'my husband'. And for the kids, too. I'm sure it gives them more security knowing that we're officially a family now and I'm not someone who may one day walk out of their lives."

Storm and Keating started dating in late 2012 after being friends for two years as colleagues on the "X Factor Australia".

They got together following the breakdown of Keating's 14-year marriage to Yvonne in late 2011.
