Bajaj Auto profit down, dividend Rs.50

Two and three wheeler maker Bajaj Auto Ltd closed last fiscal with a lower net profit despite the total income going up, the company said.

In a regulatory filing in BSE on Thursday, the company said it posted a net profit of Rs.2,813.74 crore in 2014-15, down from Rs.3,243.32 crore posted during 2013-14

The company's total income increased to Rs.22,194.43 crore last year from Rs.20,855.92 crore earned during 2013-14.

The company's board has recommended a dividend of Rs.50 per equity share for last fiscal.
