Four armed men looted Rs 46 lakh from a Maruti Swift car heading for Firozabad on the national highway here on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Senior Superintendent of Police Preetendra Singh said the area had been cordoned off.
The victims told police they were returning from a bank in Agra after withdrawing the cash for a glass factory in Firozabad, a district located next to Agra.
Near Rashtradeep Hotel on the highway, a vehicle overtook them and its occupants waved them to stop. The armed men then searched the Maruti car, found a bag with the cash and escaped with it.
