Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's visit to China is expected to enhance Dhaka's bilateral ties with Beijing and take the relation to greater heights, the Bangladesh government said Wednesday.
Dhaka attaches much value to Hasina's visit as it elevates Dhaka-Beijing bilateral relations to an even higher plane of vigour, dynamism and relevance, Xinhua quoted Bangladesh's Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali as saying Wednesday.
"The purpose of the visit is to exchange views in order to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the countries."
Hasina is all set to visit China from June 6 to June 11 at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.
The Hasina-led delegation will include 70 businessmen, Ali said.
