Bangladesh-US security dialogue to be on September 11

The fourth round of the Bangladesh and US security dialogue will be held on September 11 in Washington, the foreign ministry said on Monday.

Regional cooperation, traditional and non-traditional security, counter-terrorism, military-to-military engagement, disaster management, cyber security and peacekeeping will feature in this annual dialogue, bdnews24 reported.

Foreign Ministry Secretary Mizanur Rahman will lead the Bangladesh delegation comprising officials from the home ministry, defence ministry, and members of the armed forces.

Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs Todd Chapman will lead the US side.
