Spanish giants FC Barcelona's transfer target Gabriel scored twice as Santos defeated Atletico Mineiro 4-0 in Brazil's Serie A championship.
The 19-year-old struck either side of half-time before Ricardo Oliveira and Marquinhos Gabriel also found the net on Wednesday, reports Xinhua.
The result lifted Santos to seventh in the standings, nine points behind Atletico, who remained second.
In other Brazilian Serie A matches on Wednesday, Palmeiras won 4-1 at Fluminense, Joinville drew 1-1 at home to Sport Recife, Ponte Preta won 2-1 at Goias, Cruzeiro drew 2-2 at home to Vasco da Gama, Gremio won 2-1 at Atletico Paranaense, Internacional beat Corinthians 2-1 and Avai won 1-0 at Figueirense.
