Bayern Munich will on July 20 play a friendly soccer match against Manchester City amid preparations for the new season, in a match that will feature the return of former head coach Pep Guardiola to the Allianz Arena -- but this time on the English club's bench.
This will be Bayern's first home game under the command of Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, who succeeded Guardiola at the helm of the Bavarian giants, reports Efe.
According to Bayern Munich website, the club's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said "Our fans will certainly extend an enthusiastic welcome to our new coach, Carlo Ancelotti, and create a fantastic atmosphere in his new living room.
"We're also happy to welcome Pep Guardiola and his new team back to Munich so soon," he added.
