German football club Bayern Munich has signed a five-year contract with rising star Joseph Kimmich for an undisclosed fee Friday.
The 19-year-old defensive midfielder was a member of Germany's Under-19 European championship-winning side, reports Xinhua.
He was due to leave the German side RB Leipzig at the end of the season to return to his former club Stuttgart.
Bayern said it agreed with Stuttgart not to disclose the transfer fee.
