The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) constituted an ad-hoc committee on Friday for running the game in Rajasthan.
The committee has been tasked to ensure the participation of teams from Rajasthan in various domestic tournaments in the upcoming season.
The committee, which will have Amrit Mathur as co-ordinator, also consists of C.K. Khanna, Milind Kanmadikar, Snehal Parikh and P.V. Shetty.
BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya asserted that the committee will help to improve the standard of cricket in Rajasthan.

"This step is in line with the BCCI philosophy of keeping the interest of cricket and the players on top priority. Like any other side playing domestic cricket in India, Rajasthan cricketers will have all the facilities, exposure and opportunities to perform and excel," Dalmiya was quoted as saying in a BCCI statement on Friday.
"This move is to ensure that the interests of players are protected and they are provided every possible opportunity to showcase their talent. The BCCI is committed to support cricket in Rajasthan and ensure that players at all levels are able to play and participate in BCCI tournaments in a positive environment," BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur added.
