Singer Sam Smith, who has written the theme song for new James Bond adventure "Spectre", says it would be "interesting" to see former footballer David Beckham as the popular spy.
The 23-year-old singer also believes Beckham would make a very handsome leading man, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
"That would be interesting, that's all I'll say - that would be very interesting. He'd look fit for sure! He looks amazing in a suit," Smith said while talking about Beckham starring in the film series.
There were speculations that Beckham has been offered the titular role of the popular film franchise after he showed his keenness to act.
The "Stay with me" hitmaker also hopes singer Ellie Goulding follows his footsteps and records the next song for the film series.
