Actress Kate Beckinsale has joined the cast of comedy movie "Absolutely Anything".
The 40-year-old will star with actor Simon Pegg in the movie, which will be directed by British comedy group Monty Python's Terry Jones, reports deadline.com.
The movie is about a disillusioned school teacher, essayed by Pegg, who is given magical powers by a group of aliens. The movie will be voiced by group regulars John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Michael Palin.
Ben Timlett and Bill Jones are co-producing the movie and Mike Medavoy and Chris Chesser are executive producing it.
"Absolutely Anything" is set to begin filming in March in London.
