Minister of Sport and Tourism of Belarus Alexander Igorievich Shamko says his country wants to strengthen sports cooperation with Cuba.
Shamko said his trip to Havana aims to encourage joint training in both countries in volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics, reports Xinhua.
"We want our athletes to prepare well for the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, and the climatic conditions in Cuba are similar to those they will find in Brazil," Shamko said.
