Actor Ben Affleck has been roped in to direct the first episode of crime series, "The Middle Man".
The 41-year-old will also serve as the executive producer, reports ew.com.
"The Middle Man" revolves around the story of an FBI agent who is responsible for taking down Italian-American mafia and his confidential informant, an Irish-American gangster.
Affleck has been a part of films like "Chasing Amy" and " Dogma". He will also portray Batman in the "Man of Steel" sequel.
