Veteran filmmaker Bharathirajaa, who will be playing an important role in upcoming Tamil thriller "Sigappu Rojakkal 2", says he's really looking forward to the experience of working in his son's direction.
Bharathirajaa's son Manoj Bharathi will be helming the film.
"I play myself in the film. This is not a sequel to 'Sigappu Rojakkal', which I made many years ago. It's about a boy who is affected by watching my film. The story is very contemporary. What's exciting for me is that I will work in my son's direction," Bharathirajaa told IANS.
"I'm really looking forward to work with Manoj," he added.
The film, according to the makers, will only retain the thriller elements of the original that was made in 1978.
"Manoj has improvised the script a lot in accordance to the contemporary audience's taste," said Bharathirajaa.
"Sigappu Rojakkal 2" will feature Visakan in the lead.
