A day ahead of BJP president Amit Shah's rally here, big hoardings put up by the BJP named union Home Minister Rajnath Singh as the party chief, embarrassing local leaders.
Local BJP leaders and workers have put up big hoardings at the busy Income Tax office crossing naming Rajnath Singh as BJP president instead of Amit Shah, who is totally missing.
"In the big hoardings, Amit Shah is missing. There is neither his name nor his picture is displayed. But pictures and names of Rajnath Singh along with BJP state president Mangal Pandey, Leader of Opposition Nand Kishore Yadav and former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi are in bold letters" admitted a party leader, who did not want to be named.
But BJP leaders refused to say anything about the mistake. "Please, leave us and ask top party leaders about this mistake," said another leader.
Rajnath Singh, a former party chief, is coming here to attend Amit Shah's rally Tuesday.
