Thousands of people in the capital will be able to watch Narendra Modi take oath as the prime minister on big LED screens installed at various crossroads, courtesy the Delhi BJP.
Besides, the Bharatiya Janata Party's local unit will illuminate buildings and hoist party flags on their rooftops.
"To make the event a memorable one, we have made all arrangements. Party workers will distribute sweets among the people," BJP spokesperson Harish Khurana told IANS.
The party has installed LED screens at main crossroads in Old Delhi's Chandni Chowk, in New Delhi, and west Delhi's Rajouri Garden.
"This exercise will help us to connect with voters as the assembly election is not far away," Khurana added.
Delhi BJP unit chief Harsh Vardhan also held a meeting with party workers regarding the preparations for the celebrations.
