Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MP Renu Kushwaha on Friday quit the party after she was denied ticket to contest from the Khagaria Lok Sabha seat in Bihar.
A former Minister, Kushwaha said she felt insulted and humiliated in the BJP.
"There is chaos in the BJP and I was not comfortable. When I was not given ticket to contest the election, why should I remain in the party?" she asked while speaking to the media here.
BJP ally Lok Janshakti Party has fielded its sitting MP Mahboob Ali Qaiser from Khagaria.
