The BJP's Delhi unit leaders met Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung Tuesday and demanded a CBI enquiry against Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and her two cabinet ministers in the alleged Rs.1,000 crore transport scam.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders also expressed their resentment over no "impartial" probe being initiated against them.
"No impartial inquiry is being conducted against Shiela Dikshit, Haroon Yusuf, Arvinder Singh Lovely and many IAS officers on the basis of proof collected on Right to Information applications," said a statement issued by the BJP.
The delegation was led by leader of opposition in the Delhi assembly Vijay Kumar Malhotra and Delhi BJP chief Vijay Goel.
The party had recently alleged a Rs.1,000 crore scam in the Delhi government's transport department.
