The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday decided to propagate among the people the schemes unveiled by the Narendra Modi government since it took office.
The decision was taken at a BJP parliamentary party meeting here.
Praising his party's third union budget 2016-17 as pro-public, BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told the media here that it was important to tell the public about the schemes meant for them.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley as well as Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs M. Venkaiah Naidu were key speakers at the meeting, Naqvi said.
