Second division football club Bochum has defeated first division team Stuttgart 2-0 in the first round of the German Cup.
It was a lackluster performance from Stuttgart, who after Mainz became the second top-flight club to be knocked out in the opening round, reports Xinhua.
Bochum striker Simon Terrode scored twice to give his side a memorable win Saturday.
It was Stuttgart's first first-round elimination after 18 years.
