The Indo-Romanian tennis combine of Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea entered the men's doubles semifinals after receiving a walkover from Bulgarian-American combine of Grigor Dimitrov and Mardy Fish at the $1.5 million Washington Open here.
Dimitrov cited an injured right shoulder which forced him to pull out of Thursday night's match on the outdoor hard courts of William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center.
The third seeds will next take on the winners of the match between American top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan and Filipino-American pair of Treat Huey and Scott Lipsky.
