Boxer Manoj Kumar out of Asian Games

Indian boxer Manoj Kumar was knocked out of the 17th Asian Games beaten 0-2 by Japan's Masatsugu Kawachi in the round of 32 of the men's light welter (64kg) division at the Seonhak Gymnasium here Thursday.

Earlier in the day, L. Devendro Singh advanced to the quarter-finals of the men's light fly (46-49kg) division after getting a walkover in his round of 32 match from his opponent Albathali Fahad of Kuwait.
